What are nits?
Nits are head lice eggs. They are cemented at the base of the hair shaft nearest the scalp. Nits take about 1 week to hatch (range 6 to 9 days).

How can the Fairy LiceMothers kill nits?
Fairy LiceMothers ' MagicMousse contains safe, food grade enzymes ideal for killing nits and lice. The enzyme breaks down the exoskeleton of the louse. Fairy LiceMothers ' MagicHalo Shampoo and MagicHalo Conditioner contain high grade essential oils that are used as part of our recommended maintenance. These products along with Fairy LiceMothers ' MagicMint serve as non-toxic lice repellents. The KEY, however, (to removal treatment and prevention) is Fairy LiceMothers ' MagicWand. No product alone will remove an infestation. Lice removal can be very tedious if not detected early.
